With “Nexus Theme” we mean a theme using the Nexus Page Builder.
What do you get when you buy a Nexus Theme?
When you purchase a Nexus Theme you’ll receive access to a download link with which you can obtain a zip file. The zip file will have the following name “nexus_[ID].zip”.
The “ID” in the name uniquely identifies the specific design. For instance the the “Bouncy Castle WordPress Theme” has an ID of 67, so the zip file will have the filename nexus_67.zip.
Installing and activating your Nexus Theme
Installing and activating a Nexus Theme works the same as installing and activating any other WordPress Theme.
When logged into the backend of WordPress select “Appearance” > “Themes” from the left sidebar.
On this screen you’ll find an overview of themes currently part of your WordPress installation. In the top-right corner you’ll see an “Add New” button. Clicking it, then click the “Upload Theme” button in the following screen.
Upload the theme zip file from your computer and click “Install Now“.
Importing the content of the live preview
After you’ve uploaded the theme, you’ll be prompted to activate it as well. Click the “Activate” link to do so.
The theme has an import process to set up the initial content included with the theme. This process can take a while to finish, so please be patient while it does so.
When it’s finished you can click the “Next” button to navigate to the homepage of your website.
A word about the images
Unlike our Elementor Templates the Nexus Themes do not include the images. That’s because some or all of the images are stock photos for which a paid license is needed to use them.
We’ve replaced the original stock photos with placeholder images.
