Yes this is possible, it would require deleting the existing elements and then building your site as you would like it using our front-end editor.

The problem with the Facebook in-app browser is a known issue to us. And one we decided not to spend any more resources on. The reason for this is that the problem lies somewhere in the combination with the OS and / or the in-app browser, since we use a standard and broadly accepted way of displaying mobile websites. Since both the OS and the app are a closed system to us there's no telling where to start debugging this issue. Facebook (and other apps) are working on their own browsers to keep people within their ecosystem. However, it seems they still have some catching up to do with the big boys like Chrome and Firefox, browsers we do support out-of-the-box.

We're making our themes browser compatible with the top browsers in the world, including IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, their mobile versions excluding versions we deem "old" and not supportive of mobile devices. Apparently this is not up there with the pros in terms of mobile layout displayment quality. It's not the first browser and it will not be the last showing these unwanted characteristics. But I don't think it's wise to assign resources to further look into the issue of what I consider a marginal browser.

Since the theme is responsive, it won't be possible to used fixed widths.

If you install the theme after the purchase, it will install the initial content of the theme the first time you activate it on your site. The layout of the site will look 1:1 as the sample site. The images that you see in the demo content will be repliaced by grey boxes (placeholders). We do this, because the images are commercially licensed and we are not allowed to ship them. If you would like to have all images in place too, you can simply purchase the photopack for that theme (you see the option to purchase the photopack after you add the theme to the shopping cart). Once you install and activate the photopack it will replace the grey images with the commercially licensed ones. The photopack contains the licenses to use the photos on one website. If you don't see the option to add the photopack to the cart, that means the photopack is not available (this only applies to very small number of themes).

The so called horizontal "gutter" between widget in our themes is static; there is no managed way to configure those.

    No

Our themes don't offer a feature to zoom in on mobiles and tables. The information shown on the website should be optimized for mobiles and handhelds, according to our design philosophy. If text is show up too small, you should consider increating the font-size. If images contain too many details to view properly on a mobile or tablet, you could perhaps consider replacing it with something less detailed.
