  • The gallery widget that ships with out themes cannot be put in a sidebar (the sidebar is simply too narrow to hold one). You can only use galleries in the "main content" of the website.

After careful deliberation we've decided not to include this functionaity in the theme's website builder.

At this moment we only support 2,3 and 4 columns.

The vertical alignment is a generic property that you can find in any widget. Its for specifying the alignment of the entire widget with respect to the other widgets in the same row (so not for aligning the photos within that widget). Since the image gallery should always be put in a row with 1 column, the vertical alignment property there does not make sense; it should be hidden in the most perfect world, but since its a generic property this is not yet implemented.

    That's possible.

    Unfortunately that's not possible.

The problem is caused by the fact that the image is not yet loaded, only when its fully loaded, it knows its size, and repositions it. Its marked on our wish list to have it fixed, but so far it hasn't been fixed as there's other tasks that have a higher prio. If the way the gallery works currently is not acceptable, my advise is to use a gallery from a plugin that better matches your specific needs for now.

The size of the image that is displayed is shown in the dimension of the original image (so if you upload a bigger image it will be displayed bigger). Only limitation is the "viewport" itself of the device (so on a mobile, it will not show as big on a desktop).

There is no constraint we're aware of.

The gallery that ships with the themes allow you to configure whether the thumbnails should be portrait, or landscape, but it does not support a mix.

After you finished the duplication, delete the gallery on the page, and then put in a new gallery and you should be ok.
