    The website for your domain can only be hosted on our server if the domain registrar points the so called "DNS records" for the website to our server. Here's the procedure on how to make that happen:

    Step 1 - Instruct your domain registrar to update the DNS records:

    Reach out to the supportdesk of your existing domain registrar.

    Instruct them to configure the DNS entries for both the non-www and www hostname (example.org and www.example.org, where example.org is replaced by your domainname). They should setup the domain records in such a way that the website records point to the server with IP address 52.21.12.12 (which is our server).

    Also instruct them to ensure that no "AAAA" DNS records exist for your domain in the DNS records they manage for you.

    Step 2 - Notify us:

    Once your domain registrar confirms they have updated the DNS records on the DNS server then notify us. Simply send an e-mail to support@nexusthemes.com and instruct us to update the hostname of your studio (provide us with the hostname you want to use, www.example.org in this example).

    If the theme you have is not working with PHP 7.X this means you are running an outdated version. To get the latest version of the theme do the following; Step 1; go to the portal; https://my.nexusthemes.com/ Step 2; login with the email address connected to your order Step 3; select the order Step 4; follow up the instructions from there

    The latest version of our themes are fully compatible with the latest version of PHP. If you've made your theme purchases within a year you're eligible for theme updates. If not, you'll need to renew your theme license to get access to the latest version of the theme. Each client has a personal account which serves as an overview of all the orders you made with a particular purchase email. Simply visit https://my.nexusthemes.com/?go=new to activate it. You can obtain the latest version of the theme by clicking on the correct order id. Doing this will lead you to the Order Detail page where you will find the download link to your theme. Since your hosting provider already upgraded, it means your site is offline. That means you will not be able to access the WordPress backend. You'll need to disable the theme by renaming the theme folder via FTP. Since we do not have access to your web server you either have to do this yourself or ask your current hosting provider for help.

    First login to your website, and then turn on the editor. If you see a green icon at the top of the action bar (to the right side of the big arrow pointing downwards) then it means the transfer finished.

    Whether or not it's possible to speed up the domain transfer is dependant on the hosting provider and/or domain registrar you currently use. Some domain registrars/hosting providers send out e-mails to notify you of them having received a request to transfer the domain. Please check out the video for the details on how to speed things up in those cases.

    In most cases the webhosting environment should be available several minutes after we receive the payment confirmation. Once the provisioning is finished you will receive an e-mail from us with the login information.

    If the website is hosted with us then follow these steps; Step 1; Go to the portal https://my.nexusthemes.com/ Step 2; Login with the email address you entered during the checkout (when you made the purchase) Step 3; Enter your password (if its the first time you use the portal, the system will send you a link which allows you to create a password) Step 4; Select the order corresponding to the domain Step 5; Click on "Login" to login (or any of the other activities available depending on your needs, like backups, etc.) If the website is hosted elsewhere then you need to contact your hosting provider.

    All of our business processes are geared towards annual renewals. Currently we do not get this question enough to implement multi-year renewals.
