• Domain Transfer

  • {{description}}

    Transferring a .co.uk domain to us follows a "push transfer" process:

    - First, let us know the chamber of commerce id (or your personal ID of the owner of the domain is not a company) - First, you must change the Registrar tag (also known as an IPS tag) for your domain at your current registrar to YDNR-NL. Domain registrars might use a "Request to change the IPS Tag" form to accomplish this.
    - Then, your current registrar will then alert the registry.
    - Then the registry alerts Nexus Themes of the transfer, and we complete the transfer. Please let us know you've changed the registrar tag so we can keep track of this process.

    If, for whatever reason, we are unable to register your domain, you need to register it yourself. If you haven't already. Afterwards we can connect the domain to your site. Since we don’t register the domain, it also implies we cannot setup a domain-related email.

    After you've registered your domain you need to update the DNS records. Based on your location we have a set of instructions how to perform this update.

    - U.S. region: #177 in the "hosting" section of our support.
    - E.U. region: #178 in the "hosting" section of our support.
    - A.P. region: #179 in the "hosting" section of our support.

    - .com
    - .net
    - .org
    - .co.uk
    - .nl
    - .be

    Based on the extension and domain parameters, it could take between a couple of minutes to a couple of days.
